Beach Regulations (and Beach Etiquette Tips!)

 The following activities are prohibited on the beach:

• Glass containers
• Bonfires
• Littering
• Motorized vehicles
• Motorized water craft
• Sailboats on sand dunes or grassy areas of dunes
• Parking on sand dunes
• Unleashed dogs prohibited on the beach May 1 through Oct 31
• Leaving holes on beach
• Disturbing or hanging items on sand fencing
• Disturbing, damaging, trampling or removing vegetation that stabilizes dunes

PLEASE NOTE: There are no lifeguards on duty. Practice personal water safety and leave only your footprints in the sand.  Please respect our citizens and do not trespass on private property.

PLEASE NOTE: Dogs must be on a leash May 1 through October 31, and owners must cleanup pet excrement.

BEACH ETIQUETTE TIPS

• Respect personal space
• Pick-up and properly dispose of your trash
• Do not feed birds or wildlife
• Do not blast stereo, etc.
• Be considerate and do not smoke near other beachgoers
• Ensure umbrellas and large canopies/tents are property and firmly set; cover up holes when dismantled
