Town Hall and all administrative offices will be closed in observance of the holiday. Normal business hours resume the next business day.

The Town of Edisto Beach will experience a few effects from Hurricane Erin on August 20 and August 21. We are under the following advisories:
Coastal Flood Advisory remains in effect on August 20 from 5 p.m.to 9 p.m., with up to one foot of inundation above ground level expected along shorelines and tidal waterways. High
tide will take place this evening at approximately 6:30 p.m.
- High Surf Advisory until 8 p.m., Thursday, August 21. Large breaking waves up to six feet in the surf zone are expected.
- High Rip Current Risk until 8 p.m., Wednesday, August 20. Dangerous rip currents.
We ask our residents and visitors to be aware of the conditions, particularly along the beach and in the ocean, and stay safe.
