A tropical storm watch has been issued for Edisto Beach.
We may experience some effects from Tropical Storm Helene, which is scheduled to be a fast-moving hurricane when it hits land in Florida.
- Hazardous tropical storm force winds
- Storm surge expected to be at 1-3 feet
- An elevated threat for tornadoes for Thursday evening
- Rainfall is expected, which may cause flooding
Please be weather aware and ensure you are able to receive tornado and weather alerts on your mobile device, etc.
Sandbags are available at our Fire Department, and sand is available at the Jungle Road Park parking lot (across the street from the park).
