The SCDOT contractor has begun road patching along Docksite Road. Beginning next week, paving crews will start milling and resurfacing both Jungle Road and Docksite Road. Please use caution when traveling in these areas, as there will be delays due to temporary single-lane closures. The project is expected to take several weeks to complete.....

Verizon is reporting a network disruption in the Edisto Beach area, with an estimated service restoration time of 8:37 PM on February 27, 2026.

We want to inform the community that the Town received reports that a coyote was recently sighted on Holmes and on Lee streets. Coyotes may be spotted as they travel in search of food, especially during early morning or evening hours. At this time, there is no indication of aggressive behavior or of a multitude of coyotes here. However, we.....
