Proposed State Legislation for Beach Nourishment Funding

Up for consideration in the State General Assembly is Senate Bill 282 which, as proposed, provides a dedicated state fund for beach preservation. This ongoing fund will serve as a possible financial resource that cities and counties with public beaches will be able to apply for on a competitive basis. Read the proposed legislation HERE.
