Town Hall and all administrative offices will be closed in observance of the holiday. Normal business hours resume the next business day.

The State of South Carolina is under a State of Emergency issued by Governor McMaster. As well, Edisto Beach is currently under the following weather advisories:
- Tropical Storm Warning
- Tornado Watch
- Rip Current Advisory
- Coastal Flood Advisory
- High Surf Advisory
We may experience some effects from Tropical Storm Helene, which is scheduled to be a fast-moving hurricane when it hits land in Florida:
- Hazardous tropical storm force winds
- Storm surge expected to be at 1-3 feet
- An elevated threat for tornadoes
- Flooding
Please be weather aware and ensure you are able to receive tornado and weather alerts on your mobile device, etc.
Sandbags are available at our Fire Department, and sand is available at the Jungle Road Park parking lot (across the street from the park).
Depending on weather conditions, trash cans will be rolled out on Friday morning.
