The Town has learned that an AT&T fiber line on Edisto Island has been cut, causing cellular phone service outages. We do not currently have an estimated time for repair. Please check back for updates as we monitor the situation.

Utility bills have been mailed. If you do not receive your bill, please call Teri Bloomingdale, Utilities Clerk, at 843-869-2505, ext. 201. Payment is due by July 7, 2023. Late penalties will be posted to accounts on July 10, 2023.

Garbage collection will be Saturday, June 3, 2023.

Please note a truck snagged a power line at the causeway (near Food Lion) and bent the power pole. Currently, the Town has no power, and Dominion is working to reposition the pole to get traffic moving, and to restore power. Please be cautious and mindful of this situation, and we will provide updates once we learn more about this situation. Thank.....

Please note a Coastal Low Pressure will affect our area on Friday (May 26) and Saturday (May 27). This system will bring hazardous marine and beach conditions, gusty winds, a threat for heavy rainfall, and coastal flooding Friday into Saturday. Please see attached overview. We encourage all residents and visitors to pay attention to updated weather.....

Household garbage will be collected on Tuesday, May 30, 2023. Yard waste will be collected Wednesday, May 31, 2023. Please remember yard waste must be bundled with twine and/or containerized in paper bags. Thank you.

Town of Edisto Beach Fire Department has a can collection trailer on the corner of Holmes and Murray St. They collect cans for the SC burned children's fund. If you have cans to recycle please consider dropping them in the collection trailer so we can make a difference.
