Due to increased volume and the early closure of the landfill, some trash bins were not collected today. In preparation for the potential strong winds tonight, these bins have been rolled back to the homes. They will be returned to the street and collected tomorrow morning. Edisto Beach is currently under a Tropical Storm Watch, while waters out to 20 nautical miles are under a Tropical Storm Warning. The primary risks at this time are high rip currents and hazardous marine conditions. There is a 20–30% chance of tropical storm-force winds (sustained winds ≥ 39 mph) for Edisto Beach, with the most likely arrival.....

Please note the Town Hall building is closed on Thursday, May 22, 2025, due to construction work taking place next door (piling striking). The Police Department, Fire Department, and the Clerk of Court are open for business on May 22, and all are located next door to the Town Hall building.
